Anti Ragging

Anti Ragging

Ragging is a serious social evil that has no place in educational institutions. It involves any act that causes physical or psychological harm, embarrassment or humiliation to a student, usually by fellow students. Recognizing the harmful impact of ragging on the academic and emotional well-being of students, colleges are committed to creating a safe and respectful learning environment through strict anti-ragging policies. The primary objective of the Anti-Ragging Policy is to prevent any form of ragging on campus and to ensure the safety and dignity of every student, especially newcomers. The college adopts a zero-tolerance approach towards ragging in compliance with the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, and other regulatory authorities. In addition, an Anti-Ragging Squad is formed to conduct surprise inspections in hostels, classrooms, cafeterias and other areas to ensure a ragging-free environment.
